Mercedes demonstrating surfing abiliites

Mercedes-Benz is showing some its vans for surfing sports at the world's largest water sports exhibition in Düsseldorf. Until January 28, interested visitors can find out about the mobile companions for water sports, leisure and holidays at the Mercedes-Benz booth in Hall 8A. The space-saving V-Class, the ideal travel companion Marco Polo and - for the first time on the boat - the X-Class, which is the first pickup from Mercedes-Benz suited to drive to the remotest surf spots. All three vehicles have plenty of space for equipment, luggage and the family. In addition to the advice on the individual vehicles, test drives are also offered in front of the hall.

The exhibition is supplemented by several promotions, which take place together with individual brand ambassadors from Mercedes-Benz Vans. An interactive highlight is the X-Class VR Surf Experience. Here visitors can surf on a surfboard with Virtual Reality glasses together with the X-Class brand ambassador Sebastian Steudtner a "Big Wave" and remain dry. On Saturday, the 27th of January, the multiple world champion Stand-Up-Paddling (SUP), Sonni Hönscheid, will be present at the booth.

Hall 8A of the trade fair grounds is not only the focal point for all board sports enthusiasts, thanks to the Mercedes-Benz booth. A 1,400 m² pool offers enough space for SUP and again invites a standing wave for indoor sports surfing.
