Karmann Mobil Danny 530

Karmann-Mobil has brought out two new campervans with lifting roof based on the Fiat Talento called the Danny and is also designed for daily use as well as camping trips.  The 499cm long Danny 490, with a width of 196cm and a height of 206cm has dimensions rather more reminiscent of an SUV, plus the benefits of a refrigerator and wardrobe. The lifting room can optionally be electronic.  The kitchen has a two-burner piezo stove and a stainless steel sink. The rear seat is fixed and can be converted to a folding bed. Beneath the bench are two large drawers. The table can be unhooked and stored behind the seat to save space. In this way, a large storage space is created in everyday life behind the seat as well as in the footwell of the seating group. When the seat is pushed back to the maximum, two metres space can be gained.  There is an outside shower, insulated water tank and a diesel heater.

The Danny 530 extends the idea of comfort even further by offering a fully equipped washroom with toilet and shower as well as a classic center seat group in the front end. The large kitchen shows additional practical comfort features with externally accessible bar cabinet and large storage cupboard. In contrast to the 490, the folding roof opens to the rear, but conveys exactly the same as the shorter brother the same pure tent atmosphere for friends of the fresh air idea. With its length of 5.39m, the longer version is more likely to be in the van category than the ultra-compact Danny 490.
