Peričnik waterfall, Slovenia

The Peričnik waterfall flows from a hanging valley in Triglav National Park into the glacial Vrata Valley, where the water of Peričnik Creek then flows into Bistrica Creek. There are two waterfalls the Upper Peričnik Falls (Zgornji Peričnik) is 16 meters high whilst the Lower Peričnik Falls (Spodnji Peričnik) is 52 meters high. It is the lower waterfall which is usually simply known as Peričnik Falls.

It is possible to get a view of both of the waterfalls together which involves crossing the Bistrica and climbing up the scree slope a few dozen meters.
