Two dead as lorry hits motorhome
The photograph shows a crash involving a semi truck, motorhome and two passenger vehicles on 26 June 2016 in northern Arizona which has left two 13-year-old boys dead.
Department of Public Safety officials said the lorry drifted off the edge of the road colliding with the motorhome with significant force, tearing it open and injuring everyone inside. The two 13-year-old boys died at the scene from their injuries whilst the driver and five other passengers were transported to the hospital for treatment.
The driver of the lorry also hit a Nissan. The driver of a Toyota took evasive action which forced him off the road and into a boulder. The occupants of these vehicles were uninjured.
An investigation into the collision is ongoing.
