New Zealand company obtains stake in UK business

Tourism Holdings, the largest motorhome rental company in Australia and New Zealand, said it acquired 49 percent of UK-based Just Go which operates 130 vehicles.  The price was not disclosed.

Nick and Sarah Roach who founded Just Go retain a controlling 51 percent stake and continue to manage the business.

As Just Go operates vehicles for only 18 months before selling them, the THL believes that it may then import British vehicles into New Zealand to extend its sales offer.

THL expects to post a profit of NZD17m this year In 2014 it posted NZD11.1 million.
