Carthago changes sales structure

At the turn of the year, the Carthago Group restructured and reinforced its Sales team: Three new sales managers are now looking after Carthago, Malibu Motorhomes and Malibu Van. The Carthago Group is therefore reacting to the continuous growth of the overall brand group and the associated additional tasks – on the domestic market and also in the European export markets. At the same time, the individual brands, the positioning thereof and the different product lines have been reinforced, and trade partners and customers are being looked after more intensively.

  • Experienced employees from within the company group

The sales managers are responsible for their brands and segments throughout Europe. They each report to Bernd Wuschack, who remains the managing director for sales, marketing and customer service at the Carthago Group. Wuschack: “We will initially meet the needs of our continuing growth with the restructuring, and we also want to push ahead with even more impetus. The new sales managers have been recruited from within the company group. They are therefore bringing their comprehensive experience and knowledge of the industry, products, trade partners and end customers with them.”

  • Two brands, three product segments, three new sales managers

Jürgen Fleuter will be managing the sales of the Carthago premium brand. The 47-year-old has worked for Carthago since 2013, most recently as the Central European Sales Manager for the brand. The trained mechanical engineer also has a Master of Business Administration degree (MBA). He earned his professional stripes a good 20 years ago with a industrial company.

The Malibu brand is being divided up because of different sales structures and target groups. Wolfgang Kolb is the sales manager for Malibu motorhomes, and is therefore responsible for the sale of partially integrated and integrated motorhomes. He moved to Carthago from a manufacturer of safety technology for vehicles in 2012, previously worked for a yacht manufacturer and most recently held the position of Sales Manager for International Business at Carthago. 46-year-old Wolfgang Kolb is a Dipl. rer. pol. (certified political economist) and also has an MBA.

Florian Horne will be taking over Malibu Van sales on 1st June 2018. The 31-year-old sales specialist is currently responsible for factory sales of Carthago at the Carthago City headquarters in Aulendorf / Upper Swabia. He has worked for Carthago since 2014. Florian Horner is a trained car salesman and a business economist in the vehicle trade.
