Bradley Wiggins motorhome sold

The motorhome commissioned by British cyclist Sir Bradley Wiggins has fetched £47,000 when sold by auction.  The vehicle is on a long-wheelbase Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 316.  It was converted by Lancashire-based McLaren in 2014 and given a highly personalised look as can be seen in the photographs.  The cyclist cannot have used it much as it only had 5,500 miles on the clock.

The van was made especially for the cycling - and has bike storage and workshop in the rear.

The vehicle was put up for sale on ebay in August 2017 but failed to attract the GBP50k asking price.
