Australian company in hands of receivers

It would appear that Australian manufacturer Paradise Motor Homes has been placed in the hands of receivers as the company has ceased production.  The family-run business was launched in 2002 by Colin MacLean with a model called the Castaway and within three years was manufacturing five models.

Models ranged in price from AUD159,000 to more than AUD500,000 for the most expensive of its Inspiration Series.

The company was a pioneer in Australia in the use of slide-outs.

The reasons for the failure of the company are not yet known.
