Campingpark Kirchzell

I am currently staying at Campingpark Kirchzell in the Odenwald region of Germany.  The Odenwald is an upland region roughly to the east of a line drawn from Frankfurt to Heidelberg.  It is a region rich in forests making it ideal for outdoor excursions and although upland, it is not too high as

Trentino is a region dominated by mountains, lakes and rivers, and it’s tailor-made for adventure sports. Everyone from rock climbers to windsurfers will love it.

Dieter Goldschmitt, perhaps best known for his company which makes suspension equipment and is now part of the Erwin Hymer Group opened a restaurant with motorhomes in mind in 2010.  The Niesmann and 'Bischoff owners club recently made it a three day destination and turned up with sixty motorhome

When South Australian Labor MP for Wright Blair Boyer lost his constituency office following a boundary change, rather than look for new premises, he did the most logical thing.  He got a camper van. 

The van was donated by a constituent following a facebook request.

This country certainly doesn’t get the credit it deserves. Whenever I have holidayed in the UK – north Wales, Cornwall, Norfolk Broads to name a few – its beauty is evident.

But there are so many other places on this island I have yet to visit.

All great odysseys start with a vision. Ours was to take on the supersized scenery of Alberta, land of cowboys and mountains, riding the range like pioneers before us.
