Westland Boat Parade passing through the Netherlands
The Westland Boat Parade is an annual spectacle on water this year being held from 4 - 6 August 2017. The Westland Boat Parade features dozens of boats decorated with flowers and vegetables. The floating parade sails through the Westland region over a period of 3 days and draws in over half a million visitors every year. The region is famous for its glasshouse horticulture, with millions of vegetables, fruits, plants and flowers produced their every year. The parade passes through historical cities and towns including The Hague, Delft, Naaldwijk and Maasluis.
