Welcome from Walldürn, Germany

This week sees me at the charming medieval village of Walldürn in the Odenwald region of Germany.  This is an upland area about one third of the way between a line from Frankfurt to Nuremburg.  It is a region of rolling hills and forests where the poor soils made it an area of emigration but which today attracts tourists drawn to outdoor pursuits.  At Walldürn in September 2018 there will be an attempt to break the world record for the amount of motorhomes in one rally. I shall be writing much more about this subject but in the meantime, those interested could see womo-konvoi.de
