Swimming at Valsugana

Water is the main natural element of Valsugana and Lagorai and swimming is possible from May to September. Lake Caldonazzo, the largest lake belonging entirely to Trentino, is a real natural ground for lovers of water sports: sailing, windsurfing, canoeing, water skiing, stand up paddling and swimming. There are many public beaches and two bathing establishments. Lake Caldonazzo is separated by the small hill of Tenna from nearby Lake Levico which is well known for the spa in the town center. Surrounded by greenery and steep hills, Lake Levico suggests a Norwegian fjord. Its banks are equipped with swimming area and a tree-lined beach. Both lakes awarded the prestigious European Blue Flag. The unique and rare waters of Levico and Vetriolo Spa with arsenic and iron are perfect for the psychophysical well-being. The available treatments are: baths, thermal muds, inhalations and nebulizer.
