All Saints' Day in Poland

Many people consider All Saints Day to be their favourite national holiday in Poland. offering as it does the link between autumn and winter when the leaves are leaving the trees but can be seen with their array of colours.  It is a national holiday, many people travelling long distances to visit the graves of relatives and others who will go for walks to admire the view of the haze of heat which comes off the cemeteries at night from the glow of thousands of candles in the cold air.
