Concierge Camping, Chichester, West Sussex has been named as the AA Best British Campsite for 2019.
Developing this stunning park has been a labour of love for Tracey and Guy Hodgkin and since opening in 2015 they have added four magnificent safari tents in their own paddock and in 2018 extended the park to accommodate 27 units.
It’s true to say that the Hodgkin’s have raised the quality bar for all campsites to aspire to – it’s a first-class small park and the attention to detail throughout is very impressive. Everything is top spec, from the swish reception, replete with local produce shop, coffee and drinks, late arrival and breakfast hampers, to the state-of-the-art amenities block, which are top hotel standard including Ratham Estate toiletries, air-blade hand-driers, eight stunning new shower rooms, an excellent family/disabled room, and smart Concierge Camping branding on glass doors.
The heating/boiler system is the best, heating the block in winter and providing air-conditioning in summer. The huge new Emperor pitches boast their own mini-safari tent complete with Smart TV, dishwasher, fridge freezer, coffee machine, wood-fired oven and burner, and decked area. An upmarket stopover close to Chichester, Goodwood and the South Downs for the discerning caravanner/motorhomer looking for a touch of luxury. An exciting park.
