Camping Vidor & Wellness Resort offers a wide range of summer activities for guests, who can enjoy all the campsite facilities such as the 4000 square metre Aquapark, the Wellness Center and the on-site entertainment, but also a rich calendar of excursions suitable for all, from families with children to expert hikers. This summer in particular, Vidor guests can enjoy the Hike & Bike trail, or make the most of the Val di Fassa Tourist Board's Panorama Pass, for unlimited free lift access.
At Camping Vidor & Wellness Resort, our holiday motto has always been "Happy children, happy parents", and that's why all of our indoor and outdoor activities are developed with a special focus on our younger guests, who can enjoy new experiences on shorter excursions in the company of their parents and other children, for unique, unforgettable adventures.
In addition to on-site entertainment throughout the day and evening, campsite guests can also enjoy woodland walks to discover all that the local area has to offer, from typical alpine flowers to animal footprints and mountain huts where cheese is produced. The perfect opportunity for children to get to know each other and share experiences of growth and pure fun with their family and their new friends.
Hike & Bike, a fantastic experience on foot and by bike!
For experienced adult hikers and cyclists who want to enjoy the wonders of Val di Fassa, Vidor offers a truly exceptional excursion with a name that says it all: Hike & Bike.
Setting off on foot from the campsite, you'll hike to to the Buffaure Cable Car, where you'll take the lift to the top of the mountain and the beginning of the ridge walk. A thrilling, breathtaking route which will leave you feeling at one with nature, and amaze you with spectacular views.
From the Rifugio Ciampac, you'll begin the descent towards Alba di Canazei using the new, hi-tech Doppelmayr D-Line ropeway with automatic grip mechanism, cutting edge in terms of technology, speed and silence. Here a rental bike will be ready and waiting, the perfect way to discover the cycle path up to Pozza di Fassa, along a track which cuts through the valley and allows you to breathe in the scents of meadows and woods. The bike tour will end at the base of the Pozza ski lifts, where you can return your bicycle and head back to the campsite on foot
A one-day excursion at high altitude that is highly enjoyable and extremely popular with Vidor guests, available from mid-June until mid-September (when the ski lifts are open) in a group from the campsite or independently.
Discover the Val di Fassa with the Panorama Pass
Camping Vidor has even more to offer! From 2 June until 7 October, holidaymakers in the valley can make the most of the Val di Fossa Tourist Board's Summer 2018 Panorama Pass. This card offers you unlimited free access to the valley's open ski lift systems. An opportunity not to be missed, for those who want to enjoy mountain life from the very top, be it for hiking, photography, trekking or simply to discover new places.
There are three options available: 3 days out of 6, 6 days out of 7 or 7 days out of 13. This means, for example for the first option, that you can use the lifts on three days of your choice within the six consecutive days on which the Pass is valid, plus you'll enjoy free local bus travel for the entire six day period.
The Pass can be purchased at a discounted price by those in possession of the Val di Fassa Card, available only at affiliated facilities, including, of course, Camping Vidor.

A parking area with a wealth of services at Camping Vidor
The Fassa Valley is a destination for many tourists, including those who prefer holidaying aboard their own vehicle. Camping Vidor & Wellness Resort has had them in mind, recently inaugurating a new parking area located at the entrance to the facilities. A space offering those who stop for no longer than forty-eight hours the chance to use all the spaces and services of the resort, and therefore distinct from the classic offer of a pitch.
A parking area with a panoramic view that can welcome up to forty motorhomes and includes electrical hook-up (2 A) in the price of a night’s stay, as well as use of the resort’s shared toilets, motorhome service with refilling and waste disposal, participation in the sports and games activities organised by the resort and the possibility of accessing the cinema and games rooms. What’s more, it offers the chance to use the paid services that set Vidor apart and have recently allowed it to win many international awards. Among these services are the Aquapark with indoor and outdoor pools, the wellness centre, the market, the restaurant and the pizzeria.
“We believe that the parking area is a value added for our resort, which allows us to offer a service calibrated according to the requirements of many motorhome owners who prefer this solution,” says Christine Pezzei, co-owner of Vidor. “Those who wish to extend their holiday beyond 48 hours can move into our resort, where they can have more space and electricity up to 16 amps (in summer also water hook-up and disposal directly on the pitch) as well as the option of using specific packages including combined offers for the wellness centre and pools. The parking area certainly maintains its more limited cost, also because it’s charged for the vehicle only and not the number of people on board. Despite this, our advice is always to ask for both prices, so you can weigh up each time which is the best solution for your needs, because at certain times, for two people, the prices aren’t very different.”
